Corner Brook city hall hosts “respectful” budget consultation, budget coming down on December 8th – 100.1 BayFM

Councillor Donna Luther is on the Finance Committee and says 13 people brought their comments to the floor, representing groups like Qalipu First Nations, the Yacht club, the Coalition for Housing and Homelessness, business and the general public.

The city of Corner Brook held a public consultation on the budget Monday night and council was impressed with the level of respectfulness. Council is getting ready to bring down the 2026 budget on December 8th during the regular public meeting. Councillor Donna Luther is on the Finance Committee and says 13 people brought their comments to the floor, representing groups like Qalipu First Nations, the Yacht club, the Coalition for Housing and Homelessness.
