Public Advisory: Public Engagement for New Climate Change Action Plans Extended

The Department of Environment and Climate Change is seeking input from partners, stakeholders, Indigenous Governments and Organizations and the public on the development of two new climate change plans:
- Climate Change Mitigation Action Plan (2025-2030), to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan (2025-2030), to help prepare for and reduce the impacts of climate change.
The public engagement process was launched on November 1, 2023, and has been extended to January 7, 2024.
Feedback is being accepted through an online questionnaire, via email to climatechange@gov.nl.ca or by mail to:
