Provincial Government Invites Applications for 2025-26 Accessibility Grants

The Honourable Paul Pike, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development and Minister Responsible for the Status of Persons with Disabilities, is today announcing a call for applications for the 2025-26 Accessibility Grants.
The Provincial Government is investing $325,000 for the 2025-26 Accessibility Grants. Eligible projects will improve the accessibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of society. Priority will be given to capacity-building projects, programs or services that promote accessibility and inclusion beyond physical infrastructure. Two or more organizations can collaborate on an accessibility project using one application that includes all required information on the partnership.
The maximum funding request is $25,000. Applicants who are eligible to apply for the 2025-26 Accessibility Grants include:
- Newfoundland and Labrador based nonprofit organizations (community, disability groups, churches, social enterprises)
- Municipalities and Local Service Districts
- Indigenous governments and groups
Guidelines and application for the 2025-26 Accessibility Grants are available here. The deadline for applications for the Accessibility Grants is May 30, 2025.
