New Indigenous group protesting Port au Port Peninsula wind development joining rally

After taking its Rally for the Rock campaign across the province this summer, Protect NL is holding a rally Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Confederation Building to push back against what it calls the government’s poor management of the wind energy projects proposed for the island.

But before that, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, Protect NL — advocacy group that has serious concerns about the mega wind energy projects being planned in the province — will have speeches and a meet-and-greet with music, free Purity treats, and conversation in front of the Confederation Building.
