Ontario Government to Deliver Response to Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Final Report

Premier Kathleen Wynne will join residential school survivors, Opposition leaders and Indigenous leaders in the Ontario legislature to deliver the province’s response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Sunrise Ceremony to mark and welcome the beginning of a new day.
Location: Queen’s Park North, north side of Wellesley Street across from the Legislative building.

(There will be a brief restriction on video and photography but most of the ceremony is available for open coverage).
Time: 2:00 p.m.
Blanket Ceremony
An interactive workshop open to the public that teaches participants the history of the relationship between European settlers and Indigenous Peoples in Canada.
Location: Queen’s Park North, north side of Wellesley Street across from the Legislative building.
