Natuashish RCMP and Community Safety Officers seize nearly $20,000 worth of cocaine

Cocaine with an approximate street value of $20,000 was seized by Natuashish RCMP, in collaboration with Mushuau Innu Community Safety Officers, on August 4, 2022 at the Natuashish Airport.
It is believed that an individual flying into Natuashish abandoned the 82 baggies of cocaine in a washroom to avoid detection by Community Safety Officers.
The Natuashish RCMP thanks the officers for their partnership in keeping harmful drugs out of the community.
