Media Advisory: Minister to Lead Roundtable Discussion on Violence Prevention

The Honourable Cathy Bennett, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, will lead a roundtable discussion tomorrow (Friday, February 5) on violence prevention. The minister will be joined by representatives from organizations and groups to talk about ways to stop violence against individuals. The discussion takes place at the Hungry Heart Café, 142 Military Road, St. John’s, at 10:00 a.m.

February is Violence Prevention Month which is a time to educate and promote awareness on all forms of violence. For more information on supports available to prevent violence, please visit www.gov.nl.ca/vpi.
