Media Advisory: Minister Crocker to Participate in Seal Day on the Hill

The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will join Federal Government representatives, along with Canadian seal and fur industries, tomorrow (Tuesday, May 17) for Seal Day on the Hill events in Ottawa. These events highlight seal products and provide an opportunity for governments to demonstrate their support for the Canadian sealing industry.

Seal Day on the Hill, hosted by Speaker of the House, the Honourable Geoff Regan, will take place in the Speaker’s Chambers from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Minister Crocker will address attendees at approximately 3:45 EST (5:15 p.m. NST).
