Mandate letters to guide ministers and departments now available online

FREDERICTON – Cabinet ministers have received mandate letters outlining what is expected in each department to address government priorities.

“The best way to earn the trust of New Brunswickers is to tell people what we are going to do and then follow through on the promises we have made,” said Premier Susan Holt. “The detailed mandate letters we have prepared not only allow our government to be transparent and accountable to the people of this province, but they will also keep us on track as we do our work.”

The mandate letters outline specific departmental priorities and areas of focus. The letters are available online.
