The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, has announced the following relative to Environmental Assessment – Part 10 – of the Environmental Protection Act.

UNDERTAKING REGISTERED:

Long Harbour Quarry                                            (Reg. 2348)
Proponent: Anytime Heavy Haul Ltd.

The proponent is proposing to develop a five-hectare quarry located in Long Harbour-Mount Arlington Heights. The proposed undertaking will be used to source roadway materials which will be utilized for roadway projects. The extraction activities will involve drilling, blasting, crushing, screening and washing.

The undertaking was registered on March 20, 2025. The deadline for public comment is April 25, 2025; and the Minister’s decision is due by May 4, 2025.
