Assembly of First Nations National Chief Perry Bellegarde to Address United Church 42nd General Council
(Ottawa, ON): Assembly of First Nations (AFN) National Chief Perry Bellegarde will share his vision of reconciliation in an address on closing the gap between the quality of life of First Nations and non-Indigenous Canadians at the 42nd General Council of the United Church of Canada in Corner Brook, Newfoundland tomorrow.

AFN National Chief Bellegarde will speak to the vast difference in quality of life experienced by First Nations and Canadians and the urgent need to close this gap. He will focus on First Nations priorities that if actioned will close the gap and improve the quality of life for First Nations and create a stronger Canada.
