The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) will be hosting its 40th Annual General Assembly (AGA) under the theme of ‘Celebrating Successes and Giving Thanks’, from July 23 to 25, 2019 in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
AFN is going paperless. Please note that all material will be on a memory stick; therefore please bring your laptop/iPad to the forum.
All participants and groups are encouraged to pre-register and pre-pay. There will be separate line-ups to pick up your badge and USB for those who pre-register and pre-pay in advance of the Assembly. We are also introducing our new Self Check-in kiosks at the Assembly. You will receive a 3 digit code with your confirmation which can be entered on-site at one of the kiosk stations and your badge will be printed automatically for quick pick-up.
The 2019 AGA in Fredericton is open to as many delegates as possible in the main meeting room to accommodate Chiefs, Elders, Grand Chiefs, Veterans, Women’s, Youth & Elders Councils. Please note that this is a smaller facility than usual but AFN will maximize the full capacity.
