Line Cook
We are looking for one Line cook in our restaurant at our Dartmouth location. This is a full-time permanent job and will be paid $17.00 per hour as a salary for working minimum of 40 hours per week.
The line cook duties include:
– Excellent high volume culinary production skills.
– Make dough for Kulcha, and different types of Naans bread and Bhature.
– Prepares Kulcha, and all types on Naans in Tandoor
– Marinate Chicken and Paneer Tikkas and prepare them in Tandoor
– Serve and garnish restaurant menu’s all Appetizers and Snacks
– Take the lead and ensure that food is prepared properly, safely, and tastily
– Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
-Ensure that the kitchen and surrounding areas are sanitized and clean in accordance with company standards and health code regulations
– Stay current on restaurant industry trends
– Identify new culinary techniques and presentations
– Help the Restaurant Manager determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
– Train new kitchen staff and assist kitchen staff with food prep and recipe creation
– Thrive in a fast pasted environmen
