Cook, Ethnic Food
We are looking for one full-time permanent Ethnic cook for our restaurant at our Dartmouth Location. The minimum working hours will be 40 hours per week and will be paid $18.00 per hour plus gratuities.
The cook job duties include:
-Excellent high volume culinary production skills in curries and marination.
-Creates and maintains Indian restaurant’s menu and identity from recipe development to execution
– Take the lead and ensure that food is prepared properly, safely, and tastily
– Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
-Ensurethatthekitchenandsurroundingareasaresanitizedandcleaninaccordancewith company standards and health code regulations
– Stay current on restaurant industry trends
– Identify new culinary techniques and presentations
– Help the Restaurant Manager determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
– Train new kitchen staff
– Assist kitchen staff with food prep and recipe creation
