Enjoy a performance from a 17-year-old Indigenous singer/songwriter and member of the Abegweit First Nation, DeeDee Austin, and a keynote speech from an International Award-winning speaker and disability business advocate, Sean Wiltshire. Take part in an insightful and entertaining conversation on how businesses can create accessible, inclusive and profitable workforces for Persons with Disabilities.

Sean Wiltshire is an international award-winning diversity expert and advocate from Newfoundland and Labrador. He is an international speaker transforming lives through equitable employment. Sean has been a beacon of innovation and diversity working with businesses across the globe.As the dynamic Chief Executive Officer of Avalon Employment Inc. for the last 28 years, Sean has championed employment opportunities for individuals experiencing barriers to employment. His relentless resolve has resulted in over 1.5 million hours of gainful employment, enriching both the lives of individuals and the community at large.Sean’s contributions extend beyond Avalon Employment Inc. He served as the Chairperson for Newfoundland and Labrador Regional Economic Development Association, contributing to strategic economic planning. An alumnus of the prestigious Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, Sean’s influence has extended to federal advisory committees, promoting a richer, more inclusive Canadian workforce.Sean’s passion also led him to establish the Canadian Association for Supported Employment, initiating a National Conference on Employment Disability and Diversity, now marking its 25th year.
