Speaking as part of the University’s Year of Indigenous Action

SACKVILLE, N.B. – Mount Allison University will welcome National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Perry Bellegarde to campus as part of its President’s Speakers Series.

His appearance helps mark the Year of Indigenous Action on campus.

Bellegarde’s talk will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. in Convocation Hall.

“Perry Bellegarde has been an influential and essential figure in First Nations discussions and consultation, particularly in his role as national chief, ” university president and vice-chancellor Dr. Robert Campbell said. “We look forward to having him on campus and learning more about these matters during Mount Allison’s Year of Indigenous Action.”
