Kingsclear First Nation vows to change highway crossing that claimed young mother – APTN News

The Kingsclear First Nation in New Brunswick is divided.
Not by politics or any particular issue – but by a highway.
For years cars have been speeding through the community – and the route has now turned deadly.
On September 7, a 27-year old mother was killed trying to get across.
Now the community is vowing to hold a vigil at the site until the province helps to make the crossing safer.
