On behalf of HRM, we are recruiting for a Human Resource Business Partner(s) to join their accomplished HR team.

Reporting to the Manager, HR Client Services, the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) is the primary point of contact within their business unit responsible for delivering effective HR solutions and services to meet operational needs. Focused on innovation, modernization and best practice, the Human Resources Business Partner will work collaboratively with the HR Centres of Expertise to ensure efficiency and consistency in the delivery of service as well as the integration of human resource principles and leading edge practices across the organization.  The HRBP will develop broader policies and strategic programs that support organizational effectiveness and ensure that employee actions are directly aligned with organizational goals. Strategic in focus, the HRBP will analyze and leverage enhanced people analytics to support business unit leaders in developing proactive solutions. Building trusted partnerships, the HRBP will provide expertise and hands-on support in a broad range of human resource functions including performance management, training and development, employee relations, talent management, and workforce planning.  The HRBP will champion innovative and forward thinking people strategies that build internal capacity and drive continuous improvement to ensure the organization is able to meet changing business needs and deliver on the Municipal priorities.

As an experienced and hands-on leader, you possess 5-10 years of HR generalist or management experience having worked previously within large, complex environments. Your comprehensive knowledge of leading HR processes, systems, and programs, particularly around talent, employee relations, and performance management is complimented by an ability to clearly articulate the organization’s mission and values to all levels of the organization.  You are a natural partnership builder and have demonstrated experience developing and executing on people strategies that lead to improved employee engagement and operational performance. As the ideal candidate, you are a change champion who has successfully navigated the transformation and growth of a complex organization. Nimble and resourceful, you possess a practical business sense allowing you to effectively navigate complex decision making and foresee future operational needs. You are seen as a trusted and skilled advisor having the ability to coach, influence and communicate effectively al all level of the organization.  A university degree or diploma in business with a focus in HR or a related field is required and a CPHR designation is considered an asset.
